Dex Entry
Large groups of Massdigh will create their burrows under snowdrifts to protect themselves from predators. They are rarely seen on the surface, and are skilled at covering their bodies with snow for camouflage.
In order to survive in cold environments, their bodies are in a permanant state of semi-hibernation to reduce energy usage. They spend most of their lives underground, only venturing to the surface every few weeks in order to gather berries.
